Anti-Adults

Saw Renae Small play the best friend in the Princess Mary telemovie and decided to check out if she had done anything else and this came up, which unsurprisingly I had already bookmarked. Another share house web series (I think most web series are set in a share house), this one looks like a showcase for young talent and as such is wildly uneven. There's some good moments, usually when the series is being earnest, but there's numerous moments where the 'too cool for school' ironic vibe overwhelm and ultimately disappoint. It doesn't help that I'm about ten years older than the people in this series and it makes me feels real old. Bafflingly in an already short series, there's a final episode set 3 months later which adds nothing. It's not a bad series and has it's own style, but that polarising style will definitely be the difference between whether you'll like it or not.
