Arde Madrid

A Spanish series from a couple of years ago set in the 1960s about a Franco-loving woman who is sent to work at the house of Ava Gardner to spy on her as she is now living in Spain. Not bad series, fairly campy stuff and there is a fair amount of comedy. Interestingly American actress Debi Mazar plays Ava Gardner and speaks a combination of English and Spanish. Not sure how true the story is because the recently exiled General Perón from Argentina is living below Gardner which seems like a helluva coincidence.
