BedHead

Another Australian web series, this one a part of the ABC's competition Fresh Blood to find new talent and it was one of the winners, so the makers got to make a 5 part series. A sex comedy about two friends with the bloke very much in the friends zone, but a weekend where she stays at his house, he's given the chance to get out of the friend zone. Quite a bit of sex and sex talk in this one and while the comedy is familiar, it still has some laughs over it's short running time.

All the winners of Fresh Blood got to make a pilot for a comedy TV show and the pilot for Bedhead is out in the next few weeks. So maybe more to come...

After a five part series (which I capped earlier this month), the makers of Bedhead got to make a full 22 minute pilot which was released on Thursday. Not sure whether what's going to happen with any of the pilot, whether they go to series or not. Anyway, Bedhead just slightly expands it's already well set formula, so the bloke has humiliating sexual experiences and the woman usually has to put up with terrible sexual experiences. Get the feeling this would struggle as a series, but a one-off episode flows well enough even though it doesn't stretch the premise. Also, how many sexually nutty women does the bloke work with because this is second woman to have an obsession with him from his workplace.

From iView so the quality is low. Will try to replace with better quality when possible.
