La Casa de Papel

Another Spanish series, this time the heist thriller La Casa de Papel about a group of career criminals who are brought together by a man known only as 'The Professor' to steal over 2 billion in newly minted notes while staging an elaborate seige to put the police off their scent. I'll say more about the show in the coming days, so in the meantime here's the first lot of videos from the show.

Final update from this show. Pretty good show overall, it's structure reminded me of Prison Break, particularly the first series of Prison Break where the plan is set-up and carried out. Plus the series ends in a way that suggests it's going to continue on as Prison Break did after the first series. I see that there is a 3rd series being made, so it'll be interesting to see where that goes because it ends in a way to suggest it was wrapping up more than continuing on. I'll keep watching, I don't watch a lot of TV, but this series was a good solid watch even if highly convoluted.

Netflix re-edited the series so that it was shown in 40-50 minute episodes instead of the 70 minute episodes as aired on Spanish TV, so the videos are listed by the Netflix re-edit.

Another series down of this Spanish Netflix heist thriller which is back to doing what it does best, performing another heist. Silly as ever but still highly watchable.
