Being looking around my hard drives for Australian TV I haven't got around to capping yet and I've released a few recently (Fields Of Fire, Jessica, RAN: Remote Area Nurse, Changi, Sword Of Honour). And here's another, the 2003 romantic dramedy CrashBurn, which apparently I've had on my hard drive since 2011 so it's only taken 9 years to get around to capping it. It was a one series show that came with big hype as it made by the makers of some popular shows at the time but its 2 act structure of following the different perspectives of a married couple who are separated but are in marriage counselling was death for the series and it failed pretty quickly. It isn't a bad show, it's funnier that the usual dramedy and the supporting characters are more interesting than the main characters but that narrative structure is nearly always death for a TV show and even movies as the show repeats itself often and audiences have never really been interested in stories been told that way. I wonder if the show had the usual narrative structure if it would've been a success.
