Élite

Spanish high school drama about a group of kids going to an exclusive private who are joined by three working class students and that's where the trouble begins as we find out that someone ends up murdered. Tried to watch the series but after coming off the massive angst of 13 Reasons Why, I couldn't do another series travelling down that same road so after 4 episodes I quickly went through the rest. A bit of nudity in this series from both María Pedraza and Ester Expósito which is great and far more than 13 Reasons Why has and I've been liking María for a few years now. Sadly and this is a minor spoiler although it's given away by the end of the first episode, María's character was the one murdered so she won't be back for the next series (I assume) and we'll find out soon enough as series 2 is on Netflix tomorrow.

New series of the Spanish Netflix high school drama Élite that was just released the day after I capped series 1. Barely any nudity in this series and nothing from those added to the cast to replace the departing María Pedraza, still as angsty as ever. Looks like there's going to be a third series, so this time next year...

Another new series of the Spanish Netflix teen drama Élite and a couple of original actress (Ester Expósito, Danna Paola) are gone and Mina El Hammani only appears in a few episodes and mostly over webcam. So, a couple of newcomers are added playing sisters, Carla Díaz (who I remember from Madres. Amor y Vida) and Martina Cariddi. The show had lacked nudity in series 2 and 3 but the newcomers both have nude scenes in this series. I think I may have capped too much as there's 29 videos from the first 4 episodes alone. The rest plus collages tomorrow.

Last of the Élite update featuring a bunch of shorts that bridge between series 3 and 4. A little bit to cap, final appearance of some characters including Ester Expósito's. Looks like there's going to be a fifth series. Considering I more than doubled the amount of videos I've made of the show from this series alone, here's hoping that trend doesn't continue...

Another series of this insanely lavish Spanish teen drama and another couple dead. Time to close the school.

Also I think this update may break me. For some baffling reason the Élite rips have become hard to cap from just as they were last series but l managed to find a rip that was normal. This series no such luck so my usual method doesn't work so I had to go to the last resort method which is time-exhausting. Also for another baffling reason the timecode on the videos from episode 2 is fucked but otherwise works fine. I have no idea why and I'm not doing it again, it took too long to begin with.

Another series of the Spanish Netflix teen series Élite set in the deadliest school in the world and the formula is well and truly set by now. This new series surprised me as the last one was only in April, so they're churning them out. Carmen Arrufat joins the show which I don't find surprising as I've been seeing in a few Spanish things recently but probably says I look at too much Spanish stuff.

Another series of Élite done and dusted. Just as I was thinking 'not another series', the makers bring in Mirela Balić, who I really liked from Zorras and a great little role in Cristo y Rey and one of my favourite Spanish actresses ever in Maribel Verdú playing her mother and they drag me back for more. Looks like there's a series 8 on the horizon too so I'll be an old man before this ends.

Possibly final series of this Spanish Netflix teen drama set in the most violent high school in the world. So many murders... Anyway as with previous series there's plenty to cap including some good nudity and sexy stuff.

Last of the videos plus some collages. I'm still wondering what happened after someone shot up the school at the end of series 6. Never mentioned ever again...
