Fatal Honeymoon

Lifetime TV movie made in Australia and made by Nadia Tass and David Parker (Malcolm, The Big Steal, Rikki and Pete) and this is miles away from those movies. Well, it's your typical Lifetime movie, big bad man doing something wrong to some woman, overwrought emotions, family member/cops won't sleep until big bad man is punished, blah blah blah... The big bad man is such an unbearable arsehole that you cannot not hate him, but the wronged woman is so desperate to be married that even when she has doubts, when he proposes, she's halfway up the aisle. I know this is based on a real life case and I know the case, but this does no service to anyone. Fatal Honeymoon is particularly awful which is a terrible shame as Tass and Parker were great filmmakers at one stage, but this is unbearably bad. And that's not the worst thing. That is watching Harvey Keitel headline this piece of shit and have moments that are so embarrassing that I almost forgot all those great movies he used to be in.

Absolutely fucking awful...
