Hidden Palms

Back to the honey pot and out comes the 2007 drama Hidden Palms which lasted only 8 episodes and it's not hard to see why when you watch and it turns out to be a boring soap with a murder central to the plot which turns out to be pretty rubbish, not helped by a rushed ending forced by being cancelled. Early role for Amber Heard, while Tessa Thompson had already being in series 2 of Veronica Mars and wasn't even in the pilot for this series but come in episode 2 playing a lush thereby continuing my bafflement that she's been around for that long. Never seen Ellary Porterfield before but definitely love to see more from that cutie but her filmography is pretty spotty since.
