Lip Service

Finally, finally finishing up this series as it has taken 6 weeks to make the videos from the Blurays and I'm still not happy with them. The Blurays were impossible to edit and I tried several methods before finally working out the best way, but I think something's off. They look fine, but something's not quite right for some reason and I can't put my finger on it...

Edinburgh based lesbian drama about the arrival back to town of Frankie (Ruta Gedmintas), an alpha lesbian who had a lengthy relationship with Cat (Laura Fraser) but left town when it ended badly. Cat is finally getting back into dating and Frankie arrives and both are clearly not over each other, no matter how much they deny it. Sort of a Scottish L Word and the similarities are there, but Lip Service is slightly less soapy. Still plenty of girl-girl action.

Anyway, this is part 1 of 3 updates from series 1 of Lip Service. Tomorrow (or when I can...), I'll have stuff focusing on Laura Fraser, mostly with Heather Peace and the last update will focus on Fiona Button.

What's with Laura Fraser's aversion to showing her breasts. Doesn't mind showing the rest though. It's happened a bit recently.

Second series of Lip Service suffered greatly from the departure of Laura Fraser (but what a way to go) and Ruta Gedmintas with the other characters not quite interesting enough to get by. Good to see an Aussie actress in Anna Skellern use her normal speaking voice though I could swear that no one mentions it in the series at all (good to see her naked too). And Fiona Button is still cute as a well, you know the rest, but her character is frustrating as hell to watch. I love her reaction to getting it on with an annoying woman and then going cold on her...
