Mako Mermaids
Finally gotten around to the spin-off the H2O: Just Add Water, the mermaid show set around Mako Island. None of the original cast is back, so it basically looks like the entire cast has been transported into the same locale. This time around, we follow 3 mermaids instead of 3 girl who become mermaids, as they desperately try to get allowed back into their pod after been banished for letting a boy into the moon pool, which turned him into a merman. Most of the series focuses on the merman working out all the kinks in being a merman including using the trident to rule over the mermaids, so most of the series is a power struggle plus all the mer-people avoiding being found out as mer-people. For the most part, it's pretty much the same as H2O, but hey, it's an undemanding audience to they're probably happy with the same thing all over again.
Part 1 of the update today is just the videos featuring all the girls together. There will be more videos over the next few days plus some collages that I'm finishing off. It's mostly mermaid action, as with H2O and there's no bikini action from the 3 lead girls in series 1, which is a shame, but Lucy Fry was in Lightning Point from the same makers as this and had plenty bikini action in that. This time around I was able to get the Bluray of the first 13 episodes and HD downloads of the other 13 episodes so it's all in HD which H2O wasn't, which is great. Plus takes forever to make videos too. Yayyy!!!
Looks likes there's 2 more series planned of Mako Mermaids, but I seen around that Lucy Fry and Ivy Latimer aren't coming back for the new series, so I wonder what they'll do and who it'll be replacing them. Oh, who cares, you'll know they'll be hot...
Released videos from the 1st series in December 2014, so it's 3 years later and the show has finished and I'm finally gotten around to capping the series. And I just keep delaying making this series as I made the videos to this series in June and August and that was after numerous other delays. Aw, who cares, I'm dumping it anyway...
Series 2 of Mako Mermaids moved to Netflix and lost Lucy Fry to Hollywood and Ivy Latimer (seen her turn up on kids channel ABC3 as one of the hosts but doesn't seem to be acting at the moment) and now with American money behind it, they cast Canadian actress Allie Bertram and also Isabel Durant (from another kids show Dance Academy). So, today's update features the actresses playing the lead mermaids.
