Orphan Black

Great little clone thriller from Canada with some American input that has Tatiana Maslany play numerous characters, at least 7 in the first season that I can remember, but probably more. Maslany is quite good in the roles giving then their own personas and characteristics, even if some of the accents are a bit off, but who the hell gets every accent right. The plot is also complex enough for it to go on for a while (just seen that it's got a third season), so who knows where it would go.

Back for more, the second series amps everything up including more characters for Tatiana to play including a transgender person (oh come on, that was inevitable). Sadly, the only thing that wasn't amped up was the sexy stuff as there really isn't a lot to cap in this series.

Another series of Orphan Black and I've got to admit having watched it a couple of weeks back, I barely remember what happened and when starting series 4, I was at a loss as to what happened in the previous season. I dunno, it just feels like too much is going on and but not a lot is happening and I've just lost interest as the conspiracy doesn't interest me like it used to. Ah well, there's only one more series to go...

Final series of Orphan Black and to be honest, I kinda stopped caring about the show during the last series and it ended, well, with a wimper more than a bang. The series was still pretty watchable to the end and Maslany was fantastic in multiple roles and a worthy breakout star of the show, but the show went on too long, the last series is hardly essential. That last episode was mostly unnecessary, could've added the first 10 minutes of the last episode to the previous episode and ended it there.
