Parade's End

Being sitting on the Bluray of this for a while, but finally my Adelaide Clemens kick has sunk in, even though it began with Wasted On The Young, so here we go. Strange and quite cocky period piece that's mainly about Benedict Cumberbatch's character desperately trying to bang Adelaide Clemens' suffrogete character while he's in a marriage of convenience with Rebecca Hall's character who off with everyone else including his brother after a stint in the convent. It basically takes 5 episodes and various stints in the war for this to happen.

I'm sure that's not how it's written, but that's how I remember it...
