La Pasión Turca

New Spanish romantic thriller series where a Spanish professor (Maggie Civantos) in Türkiye falls in love with a mysterious local man that develops into a whirlwind relationship until it turns out that the man she loves is incredibly shady but finds that she's in too deep. I wondered if this series was an adaptation of the 1994 Spanish movie of the same name starring Ana Belen and it doesn't take long for the similarities to come out. There is one major difference in that the professor spends a lot of time in Türkiye but in the movie the woman was on holidays with her husband and she leaves him and Spain to have the affair.

I did cap the 1994 La Pasión Turca back on the old site from one of it's showings on early 2000s SBS and I'm pretty sure I have a DVD of the movie so I should cap it sometime soon as there's plenty of nudity in that movie.
