Äkta Människor (Real Humans)

Another foreign TV series, this time a Swedish sci-fi drama about human-like robots called Hubots who are used by humans to do pretty much everything human, but there's some tension involving a bunch of free Hubots who are near human-like that were created by the initial creator who have moved on after his death with nefarious plans of their own. Also, there's a developing narrative against the Hubots for human-only existence. Lots of different plot strands ranging from world domination to domestic duties, but I found the simpler stuff more enjoyable than the larger ethical stuff. A great series, lots of interesting stuff although I've got about a 1000 questions that I would like answered about these Hubots, firstly, what's up with their sex organs, I mean are they exactly human-like because that seems to be the assumptions, but surely there's a difference. Also, why do female Hubots wear bras? Anyway, something a little different and I've said this so many times on this site that it's lost all meaning, but we never make any non-crime genre stuff in Australia just more bullshit cute dramas and populist junk. Something for Pay-TV and the finally up and running streaming services perhaps.
