Romper Stomper

Brief diversion from the GLOW updates for a quick update from the just released on streaming TV show Romper Stomper. Very little to cap sadly, not like the original movie. The below video is from 3 different episodes. The show well, it's OK and plays up the 'both sides are bad' nonsense while delivering a totally fantastical plot and kills off major characters quite regularly and in ridiculous ways. Then again, the original movie is somehow a classic but the only memorable things are the kinetic energy of Russell Crowe in his career making role and the early violent scenes because everyone forgets how the second half of the movie turns into a melodramatic love triangle. The also play up that the lead character's father is the fabled Hando, but doing some quick maths, it don't add up.

OK might be generous to be honest...
