Sammy J & Randy in Ricketts Lane

ABC niche comedy series that was released entirely to iView before it airs on TV (apparently it doesn't air until October). In short, it's about lawyer/loser Sammy J who lives with his best friend Randy, a puppet and they have a few adventures, a few musical numbers, a strange obsession with Kevin Costner (including the title of every episode named after one of his movies) and plenty of cheap, gross out humour. Nothing wrong with that. Love that Georgia Chara from Wentworth is in this as Sammy J's secretary/stalker, more of her is never a bad thing. And Samantha Healy hasn't been in anything in years so good to see her on TV again. And major props from setting it in a part of Melbourne I'm very familiar with, a perfect spot for it's 70s type feel.
