Johnny Moronic Television - Shortland Street

New Zealand soap that currently plays after the old Home and Away episodes, but is current almost 3 years behind, probably because the new episodes play on cable (which I don't have). Another one of those shows I've been stockpiling for absolutely no reason other than I could never be bothered to finish the job and release what I had. So, I have about 18 months of videos to release, sounds like a lot but there's even less than the old Home and Away to cap from this show sadly.

Did an update from the NZ soap Shortland Street from its showing after old Home and Away episodes in May last year, but that has stopped showing. But, I've been able to get new episodes and cap them, so here's a new update from episodes that have aired over the last 9-10 months. Not much, it's not really a sexy show like Home and Away, but some good stuff. Also, I like Grace Palmer, she guested on a few episodes of Home and Away and then the same week she started on Shortland Street. Had a nice bikini scene (her first) a couple of weeks back...

Sadly, I also had about 18 months of episodes prior to this lot that I had searched through but never got around to capping, then I had a hard drive crash and this was the only thing I didn't back up or could replace. Again, it wasn't much, I think there was only 20-30 episodes to cap from for the 18 months, but there was a couple of really good scenes and the dying stages of that lesbian relationship. Shame...

Videos from the last 10 or so weeks of Shortland Street. Newcomer Lucy Lovegrove is an Australian actress who I hadn't heard of and hasn't really done a lot here, so it was a surprise she turns up as a regular on a New Zealand soap. Not that Australian actors haven't been on Shortland Street before. JJ Fong from Go Girls and Step Dave has also joined the show as a lesbian surgeon, so interesting times ahead.

Haven't capped anything from Shortland Street from about mid-2018, mainly because the person who was capping it off the TV stopped doing it and the only copies available were low quality version. Well, I went back and slowly went through the low quality copies and it turns out they aren't even capped off the TV, but screen captured off a stream, so much so that you'd get the more than occasional buffering. So the below videos from mid-2018 to the end of 2018, aren't the best quality and I'd usually junk some of them but there's no other way to get episodes from over 2 years ago, so, this is it.

Mainly, I went back and did them because I quite like Phoebe McKellar and saw that she turned up for a small stint and it wasn't disappointing playing a sexpot nanny encouraging threesomes.

Videos from this year's episodes of Shortland Street and I'm now up-to-date. Pay-TV locally dumped Shortland Street late last year and SBS picked it up and play it on VICELAND hours after it airs in New Zealand and in HD, so the quality has well and truly improved and I don't need to go around scrambling for low quality downloads like I had been.
