Sirens US

Been sitting on this series for a while, don't know why, I think I was waiting for the series to end, then just forgot about, which is typical of the malaise on the TV side. It's time to rectify that. Oh Rectify, that's another show I need to finish off capping.

Anyway, Sirens is a remake of the UK dramedy, which I capped about 4 years ago (has it been that long), with the US version made more into a sitcom. It's not bad as far as US remakes go as at least it goes about forging it's own path from the start and just using the basic premise of the original. So, there's the guy who can't get a date, the gay guy and the weird new guy plus the guy who can't get a date's ex and the both still sorta like each other. But after that, it goes it's own way. And it also has the now requistite Australian actor with Jessica McNamee ex of Packed To The Rafters who takes that gig as the ex.
