The Starter Wife

Don't usually cap US TV shows like this, but this was filmed in Queensland even though it's set in Los Angeles and also features numerous Australian actors. Well, the first season anyway because a brief search shows that the second series was filmed in Los Angeles and the only Australian actor to return seems to be Judy Davis, not even Miranda Otto and Aden Young who play the Debra Messing's best friends. Basically another in the neverending slew of Debra Messing vehicles and she drives the show quite well even if it gets quite silly at times, I mean the man of her dreams (played by Stephen Moyer) is a homeless man and Joe Mantegna's character faking his death in the most ludicrous way. Also, wasn't there scuttlebutt about her ex-husband being based on notorious Hollywood producer Brian Grazer. I remember something about that. Yeah, it's a chick show, it's OK mainly thanks to Debra Messing and I'd never usually watch this show in a million years, but the result is below, so fairly nice stuff to cap from a 6 hour series.

I won't be capping series 2, mainly because there's no Australian actresses to cap and a quick look shows that the second series isn't on DVD in Australia and I ain't paying to import something I can't be bothered with...
