The Straits

The ABC are always great with getting their dramas out on Bluray even considering the contempt they have for HD on the TV. The commercials could learning a thing or two (alright, Underbelly gets the Bluray treatment and just in the last week Bikie Wars, but that's it). Uneven crime family series set in Northern Queensland (and also Papua New Guinea) that has a quite good first episode, but doesn't reach those heights for the rest of the series. And a cast that is about as culturally diverse as we are ever going to get in an Australian drama, as dramas are usually pretty whitebread.
