Stupid Stupid Man

2006-2008 Australian sitcom made for Pay-TV set in an office of the lad's magazine COQ (Chaps Own Quarterly, I think...) that is broad, sometimes funny, but never really gets consistent laughs through any episode even with a pretty decent comedic cast. And for a show about a lad's mag, not really a lot to cap sadly. Only a couple of women in the main cast, Leah Vandenberg is the typical ball-busting boss while Sophie Katinis is the only sensible character in the office. Gee, thought Sophie would be a much bigger star by now, she had a pretty decent run for a while there, but the roles seem to dry up after Out of Blue petered out. Even in her only regular gig since, the terrible Cops LAC, she was barely in it and wasn't one of the main cast. According to IMDB (yes, I know), she goes by the name Sophie Roche now, although she was still Katinis in the last thing I saw her in, Wonderland. Such a shame and another actress lost in the tidal wave in Australia. No wonder all the young ones go overseas now, not much here for them...
