True Blood

Just looked it up and it was October 2009 when I capped the first 4 episodes of True Blood and then never went back there. I'd stupidly bought the first 2 series thinking I'd be watching and capping the series but didn't even get past the second disc of series 1. So almost 8 years later, I've come back to True Blood and I'm not even sure why gone back to it. I think mainly I just want to cap Anna Paquin for the Australian/NZ actresses overseas section, but I might as well cap everyone else. Also, all 7 series are currently clogging up about a terabyte on a hard drive and I should really get rid of that rather than fork out for another hard drive.

Anyway, the plan is to cap a disc a week, so with 5 discs for each of the first 5 series and 4 discs for series 6-7, that's 33 discs, a reasonable goal. Having said that, there are some discs which only have 1 episode, so that might slightly quicken things up. More likely is that I just get pissed off with it and stop doing it and mass delete everything. Hopefully not, but it's definitely an option...

So, 1 down, 32 to do. Here we go...

The weekly True Blood update and these three episodes were a pain in the arse to cap as most of the videos take place over numerous episodes (2 of the videos below are from 3 different episodes), so lots of fun capping those. Also, I'm only really half-watching the show, but these episodes where totally batshit crazy and well, unbelievably ludicrous. One scene where Michelle Forbes puts on a bull mask and chases after a bloke is so stupid, I pretty sure my eyes rolled a full 360°. It always seemed a bit silly, but these episodes were something else...

There was only one episode on the final disc for this series, so I decided to just finish off the series a week ahead of schedule, which is fine by me. Sooner it gets done, the better. So 10 discs down, 23 to go. And I forgot again to do collages for this series, damn it...

The weekly True Blood update and I was able to get slightly more done that I was expecting and ended up getting through the first 2 discs of series 3 or 5 episodes, so there will be a second update this week, probably on the weekend. Also the first full frontal nude scenes in the series in these episodes, brief but they happened. The Natasha Alam role seems solely in the show to show nudity, which means more work for me. I've also found a rare deleted scene on one of the discs that has a cheesy scene that introduces Natasha's character.

As promised the second True Blood update for the week and there was a fair bit to cap from these two episodes, especially the 4th episode. Quite like the Jade Tailor scene, some good nudity, shame her character doesn't last long. Next update should be mid-week as usual.

Last update from series 3 of True Blood and I've finally gotten around to doing some collages of Anna from series 2 and this series. Might still do some collages of others, particularly as this series had some great guest actresses who had some sexy stuff like Melissa Rauch, Arielle Kebbel, Jade Tailor, Carlson Young, Lindsey Haun etc., so it was a pretty decent series. The story is still silly but at least it wasn't as silly as the second series.

Another new series of True Blood and just as I commenting on the quality of the female guests in series 3, series 4 has gotten off to a pretty decent start with Alexandra Breckenridge, Courtney Ford and She Who Shall Not Be Named. And generally surprised Lindsay Pulsipher shows her breasts in this series as I would've sworn her very brief nude scene from the previous series was a double, but she has two pretty decent scenes I've already seen this series (one in the next update).

I've got a decent groove going with capping True Blood episodes now, so I'm going to try and work through them quicker than anticipated. And I'm one episode shy of halfway...

Interesting couple of episodes with a fair bit of sex/nudity from Anna Paquin and also I have redone a video from the previous update adding a further 5 seconds that continue on in the next episode.

The weekly True Blood update and I was finally inspired to do a couple of collages, this time of Kelly Overton, who I've really been into this series and has a really great nude scene in this update. Also passed the 200 videos mark, feels like more to be honest.

Final update for series 5 and 60 episodes down, only 20 episodes to go, so not much left now. Some good nudity in this series from Kelly Overton, Valentina Cervi and Jessica Clark, who was nothing but naked although Anna Paquin barely had anything to cap this series with only one video early on. Shame there was only a hint of nudity from Lucy Griffiths. Last update I said I passed the 200 video mark, but then I forgot to add the 50-odd Anna Paquin videos so it now closer to 300 videos.

Being a month since the last True Blood update, I haven't forgotten, just distracted and other circumstances have conspired. Anyway, not much from the first 3 episodes of the series, so a pretty quick update. And damn, Jamie Gray Hyder has some great nudity in the first episode of the series.

So, we're getting there, only 10 episodes to go. Gotta be honest, I thought that I'd cap True Blood for a while, abandon it around series 3 and then come back to it 5 years from now, but finish line is in sight and at about a rate of a disc a week, which was the original plan. Decided to lump the last 5 episodes of series 6 in the one update because it was heavily weighted to the episodes 6-8 and the there wasn't much great from episodes 9 and 10. Gotta say, series 6 absolutely delivered with the nudity including another great scene from Anna Paquin after a barren series 5 even for just sexy videos. Gotta make some collages of those Jamie Gray Hyder scenes from the first episode of this series, damn they were good.

Also finally gotten around to making collages including finishing off collages of Anna Paquin from series 4 I should've done back then and also collages from this series just finished. I've also done a bunch of collages of other actresses from the show, finally, mostly from series 3 but I've done some of Deborah Ann Woll from series 2. I'm probably going to end up doing collages from True Blood well past when I finish doing the videos, so the quicker I finish them off, the quicker I can free up 600GB of a hard drive which will be mighty handy right about now.

That's it. It's done. All 7 series of True Blood capped. Almost 350 videos from the show. Finally! The plan was to do a disc a week and there was 33 Bluray discs and I did it in 30 weeks which included a few weeks when I just didn't do anything. Of course nothing is ever finished on this site, so I'm still going to do a bunch of collages from the show from actress other than Anna Paquin over the next little while so that I can finally delete all the episodes off the hard drive and regain a whole heap of space.

Disappointing that a series that had guest appearances from Ashley Hinshaw and Natalie Hall couldn't come up with anything decent to cap of them. Damn it! And we'll never know if Deborah Ann Woll would've shown more than she ended up doing if there were further series, probably not, but she kept teasing to the end.
