Vietnam

1987 mini-series focusing on how the Vietnam War affected one family, which came in the glory period of Kennedy-Miller mini-series (Bodyline, The Cowra Breakout, The Dismissal, Bangkok Hilton). This is a superb series with stand out performance from Nicole Kidman and Nicholas Eadie, but all round it's fantastic.

Just one issue though, what's with the cropping of the image from fullscreen to widescreen on the DVD? It's pretty damn obvious and maybe you could see a little more in some scenes. Ugh!

Anyway, not a lot to cap, but the occasional good thing and as an admirer of Imogen Annesley, a couple of nice scenes from her. Actually surprised she was in Vietnam as it's not listed on her filmography on IMDB although the entire Vietnam entry is pretty terrible. Makes me wish I could find a copy of the mini-series Flair, which has some pretty good nudity from her, but seems to have disappeared from existance. Getting a copy of that would be gold! And before you mention it, yeah I know about The Marsupials: The Howling 3, just not as good nudity.
