Warrior

New Cinemax series apparently based on something Bruce Lee come up with about a man who comes from China to San Francisco to look for his sister and ends up getting caught up with the gang violence in town while finding out that his sister is actually married to the head of the opposing gang. A very Cinemax type series, at times reminiscent of Banshee (it even has one of its stars in a recurring role) with plenty of action, a bit of sex and nudity and a whole lot of plot. I quite liked it overall and there's going to be a second series, so here's hoping for plenty more.

Forgot this series was still going, the previous series aired in late 2020 which is even longer that I thought it was. Also forgot this show is made in South Africa so you get the occasional local actor turn up. Can't remember why Joanna Vanderham no longer in the show which sucks. Very much suggests a fourth series is in the works which I look forward to seeing in 2027.
