While The Men Are Away

New SBS drama about the women that were left behind during World War 2 and it makes no bones about it's very revisionist take with a lesbian bent. Interestingly it stars Italian actress Michela De Rossi from The Many Saints Of Newark as a left behind wife who isn't just having it off with another wife but also has other secrets particularly about her 'deployed' husband. Was surprised by the Strong Sex Scenes rating for the show because that hasn't happened for quite a while and there's a little bit of nudity and a brief 69 scene which I definitely didn't expect.

Points to possible good signs for the Erotic Tales series SBS is airing soon.

Turns out that SBS has put all of the episodes from While The Men Are Away on their OnDemand site so I've capped the rest of the series. Some pretty good stuff and was surprised to see Anna Skellern turn up in one episode. I'll replace the videos with HD versions when the episodes air on SBS.
