Things I learned from Wildside:

1. According to various sources, Rachael Blake was 26 during the first season of Wildside, but in the show she is a fully fledged doctor with plenty of experience and has a teenage daughter (played by Abbie Cornish, way before Somersault). I know she has a mature look, which works for her as she looks exactly the same 13 years later, but this is baffling...

2. What happens when you graduate Heartbreak High? You head to the streets of Wildside. At least 6 of the cast of Heartbreah High show up in the first 20 episodes, two as a couple living in a squat. Great school that is...

3. I really, really hate this show. Everybody yells and talks over each other. There's shaky cam, more than anything I've seen in movies to the point that some scenes are absolutely unwatchable, All the cops are major arseholes etc. etc. At least in The Wire the cops were fun, these cops are just pricks and arseholes and there's a rapist too. Ugh...
