Caitlin Stasey in Fear, Inc., Anna Hutchison in Cup Of Love, Emily Barclay in Deceit

Some stuff that's cropped up recently.

Fear, Inc. is a horror comedy about a horror movie obsessed man who signs up for his own scarefest with a mysterious company and it doesn't quite go according to plan or does it? Caitlin Stasey plays the girlfriend of the man and has a few bikini scenes and a top ripped open scene. Silly fun, but I've seen way to many horror movies to not recognise where it was going. Cup of Love is a movie made in Colombia about a scientist at a franchise coffee company (Anna Hutchison) who goes to Colombia to source the next big thing for the company, but comes across a small company with much better coffee beans and attempts to win over the hard-to-please owner and of course falls in love with him. Nothing special, just a solid and predictable romantic comedy. Anna seems to turn up in a few B-movie recently, I watched one called Wrecker where she's chased by a truck driver, pretty much a rip off of Road Kill and there was a LifeTime movie where she gets stalked on Tinder that was written by a couple of Melbourne actresses. Deceit is a midday movie I recorded recently that was made in New Zealand, but the main roles are all American actors. Emily Barclay plays the daughter of the lead who will has an integral role in the plot, even if it's a smallish role.

Maia Mitchell in The Fosters series 1 and 2

More Maia Mitchell, this time from the first couple of series of the TV show The Fosters, which is currently up to series 4, so a bit more to do. Not much as it's pretty much a family show with the parents being a lesbian couple but it never goes beyond anything PG, not that I expected more, it's American network TV after all.

Maia Mitchell in Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2

Today's update features Maia Mitchell in a couple of Disney telemovies Teen Beach Movie and Teen Beach 2 where she plays one of the leads who magically enter a movie and become part of a 60s beach movie with the sequel being the movie characters come into the real world. Silly stuff, but it's for kids and is fairly watchable. Maia's one of the leads here and she's also in the family TV series The Fosters which I'm currently working on releasing some stuff of her from that show, but honestly there's not much being a family TV show.

Maia did a fair amount of kids shows in Australia, remembered that she was the rival to the lead in Mortified and she was in those WA kids survival shows Trapped and Castaway. Seems to have been the only one that kicked on from those shows because quite a few kids show actors are doing well now (I'm mainly thinking of the Sleepover Club/Saddle Club girls, but others like Abbie Cornish, Gillian Alexy and Gracie Gilbert all were in kids shows early on and let's not forget the H2O girls Phoebe Tonkin and Claire Holt). It's amazing how often some young actor seems to have come out of nowhere and then you find out they were on some kids show. The other day I watched the new movie Spin Out and the female lead is the gorgeous Morgan Griffin and of course she was in The Sleepover Club a decade ago.

Rose McIver in Petals On The Wind, Rachael Carpani in If There Be Thorns

A couple of Virginia C. Andrews adaptations today with a whole lotta incest going on which baffles me as to why they are so popular. Anyway, Rose McIver and Rachael Carpani play the same character in two of the telemovies and their from Lifetime, so they are a bit tame on the sex stuff, but there's a bit to cap so not too much to complain about.

Sophie Monk in Date Movie

Have capped this movie before, but I can now do a HD upgrade, so why not put it in this section. Sophie Monk has quite a bit of stuff relevant to this section of the site, I've got a few things that I've just never gotten around to while capping all her nude stuff. Looks like she has a new movie out after 5 years of being prominent in Australia for other reasons, a remake of the Herschell Gordon Lewis gore cult classic Blood Feast which could mean something to cap, hopefully.

Terrible movie.
