Melanie Lynskey in Park

Another mid-2000s American movie this time featuring a New Zealand actress, Melanie Lynskey. Of course, I bought the DVD for this movie (for $5, so not much but still) and then a few weeks later a HD version become available. Damn it! Never seen the movie before and thought the nude scene was a decent length, but it a few seconds long. Better than nothing...

Dichen Lachman in Animal Kingdom s03e12-13

One more update of Dichen from the series finale of Animal Kingdom with a couple of videos and also made a couple of collages of her appearance over the series. Some decent stuff from Dichen over the series considering the show doesn't do frontal nudity and before the start of the year, she hadn't really done any nudity. Might be back for more in the next series, who knows? Also Altered Carbon is coming back and considering the content of the show, they could always bring her character back.

Bella Heathcote in Strange Angel series 1

Another just finished American TV show that stars an Australian actress, this time Bella Heathcote playing the wife of a promising rocket scientist who struggles with a childhood trauma inflicted by a family member who is gradually seduced into an occult group which may help her overcome this trauma. Interesting show that's something a little different story wise plus there's a few scenes of Bella in see-through clothes which fairly enticing.

Abbey Lee in Elizabeth Harvest

A new movie starring Australian actress Abbey Lee with a few nude scenes and plenty of sexy stuff to cap.

Elizabeth Harvest is a weird thriller about a genetic scientist (Ciarán Hinds) who arrives home with his new, much younger bride Elizabeth (Abbey Lee) who live with his son and also a fellow scientist (Carla Gugino). She is told not to enter one room in the house and of course she does and finds out something horrifying to her. When the scientist finds out about Elizabeth entering the room, he kills her. Six weeks later, the scientist arrives home with his new, much younger bride Elizabeth and he tells her not to enter one room in the house and of course she enters the room, but this time when he tries to kill her, Elizabeth fights back and kills the scientist instead. And then it gets worse for Elizabeth... Not a bad little movie, weird but there's nothing wrong with that.

Peta Wilson in False Pretenses

It's TV movie week on the site, unofficially, so it was probably inevitable that I'd come across an Australian actress in one and finally came across this 2004 thriller starring Peta Wilson as a woman attempting to trap a con man who stole everything and caused her husband to kill himself. Not bad, a few twists and more enjoyable than the usual trashy TV movie.

Also, I really should look into capping more of Peta Wilson for this part of the site, there's got to be plenty of stuff out there, she's been in America since the late 90s. The early 2000s movie Mercy comes to mind, but isn't an easy find.

Esther Anderson in Siberia series 1

Going through the neverending list of stuff featuring Australian actresses, I came across this obscure American thriller set during a Reality TV show called Siberia which featured former Home and Away actress Esther Anderson as one of the contestants. They've done that thing where they cast a bunch of unknown actors (well unknown in America) as basically themselves so Esther plays Esther a model from Melbourne. Then it slowly turns into series 1 Lost where the reality show becomes very real and it looks like the contestants have been forgotten and left to fend for themselves in what looks like an atomic wasteland somewhere is deepest Siberia and then the snow hits. Not bad, but the reality feel becomes annoying when it stops been a reality show. Has a neat ending that suggests a second series that never happened but I doubt they could sustain a further plot for more than a few episodes. Be interesting to see what happened to Esther's character who ran off with a bag of money in the end.

They also do that American reality TV thing where they pixelate anything looking like nudity, so there's a couple of scenes where Esther strips off that's all under pixelation, even wearing a G-string. Damn it... Esther has only made brief appearances in other American shows including GLOW, which I watched and capped and don't remember her at all. Definitely didn't have anything cappable otherwise I would have capped it.

Rose Byrne in Wicker Park

Still more mid-2000s movies featuring an Australian actress, this time it's Rose Byrne in Wicker Park, a remake of the mid 90s French movie L'Appartement, a movie which I quite like.

Have included a some deleted scenes and an outtake that was on the DVD, so it's lower quality than the videos from the movie. There isn't a Bluray of Wicker Park as far as I know.
