Update for 30 November...

Another 90s HD redux, this time the 1993 Canadian Gen-X slice of life/serial killer thriller Love & Human Remains, a movie I've already espoused previously so no need to do it again. My previous update was from a fullscreen DVD so I've kept the videos in the original update as they show a little extra in some videos while the widescreen also show a little more. Also the Bluray seems to be a tad lighter which is noticeable particularly in the first Polly Shannon video.

Update for 28 November...

A couple of 90s movies that I've capped off DVD have gotten a HD upgrade so it's time for a redux upgrade. Strangely, the 1997 drama Going All The Way got a recent director's cut where apparently 50 minutes of extra footage was added to the Bluray release. At quick glance it's about 20 minutes longer plus a bunch of scenes that I capped off the DVD of the movie aren't in the director's cut, so I've included them below. There's also extra scenes and alternate cuts to a couple of sex scenes too but no real extra nudity, in fact one of Amy Locane's nude scenes has been removed and replaced with a scene where she gets fingered in a car. A long forgotten movie and a very odd choice for a 25 years later director's cut but here we are.

Also included by is a HD upgrade of the 1994 Russian-shot horror movie Mute Witness, a movie I'm quite fond of as it is a very effective thriller.

Update for 26 November...

Funnily enough there's a new Bluray release of the 1995 telemovie Full Body Massage that has just been released and they are just releasing anything on Bluray nowadays which is great for us cappers. Otherwise, the only possible reason for this telemovie to get this sort of attention is probably because it is directed by noted director Nicolas Roeg (Walkabout, Don't Look Now, The Man Who Fell To Earth) who was in a (rather long) lull in his career by this stage, basically doing for-hire gigs. The movie itself feels very odd for a telemovie. There's very little plot as the movie is just two people getting to know one another as art gallery owner Nina (Mimi Rogers) get a full body massage from Fitch (Bryan Brown) who has unexpectedly taken the place of her much younger usual masseuse. Not much more than that.

If we're putting underseen Nicolas Roeg's movies on Bluray, hopefully they'll get around to his final feature Puffball which has some decent nudity from Kelly Reilly plus, strangely, X-Ray cum shots.

As a part of the 1990s project I've capped a couple of other of Roeg's 90s movies including Cold Heaven and Two Deaths.

A couple of newly released Spanish movies with the pregnancy horror thriller El Cuco and the comedy thriller about a man who goes to college and ends up becoming a hitman No Voy a Pedirle a Nadie que me Crea. Seeing Mexican actress Natalia Solián in the latter, I decided to check out what else she's been in and it turns out that she also had some nude scenes in a Mexican pregnancy horror movie Huesera: The Bone Woman which was released in the last year, so I capped that too. So, I inadvertently hit on a theme of pregnancy horror in this update.

Disappointing as the poster for the movie suggests a much more fun movie where the lead is crazily riding a unicorn as men flee in horror not to mention the title translates to Little Red Riding Hood to Wolf. Hmmm...

Update for 12 November...

That time when I cap a bunch of new release Spanish movies, quite a few in this lot with a little bit of nudity in all bar one. Some quick synopses:

La Desconocida is about a young woman (Laia Manzanares) who meets a much older man who posed as a teenage boy online and things get very odd from there and he may have more to worry about than she does.

Mi Soledad Tiene Alas is directed by actor Mario Casas and co-written with French actress Déborah François who were in El Practicante together (where his character horribly abuses her) and stars Casas's brother. It's about a couple of graffiti artists/thieves who steal the wrong diamond and have to go on the run.

Menina Casilda is a pandemic set dramedy where an actor kidnaps a woman (Paula Varela) and forces her to watch his one man show which is surely a fate worse than death.

De Perdidos a Río is about 3 friends who go to Brazil to take back the body of their good friend except it turns out that he isn't actually dead but they're going to soon wish he was.

No Mires a los Ojos  is a bizarre thriller where a man is sacked from his carpenter job and smashes up the workplace before hiding in an armoire which is being taken to a house. When he gets to that house, he decides to live in the armoire making adjustments to set himself up and watches the couple who bought the armoire unravel. All the while he dreams he is being interviewed about his experiences and forms a crush on the woman (Leonor Watling) and takes matters into his own hands when her husband cheats on her. Very odd but very intriguing.

Update for 2 November...

Yep another lot of 90s movies including a couple of movies starring/featuring Claudia Christian. Hexed is a wild B-grade comedy that is more hit than miss but it gets crazier by-the-minute and never lets up. Strange bit during the sex scene where there's a clear double for Claudia but she also appears accidentally nude in the scene. That doesn't happen too often in double scenarios. Claudia also briefly appears in the horror comedy Mom, lasting only the opening scene but not before having her top ripped open.

Thought I couldn't go wrong with a Kathryn Bigelow movie in the manner of Blue Steel, but the movie has such an insane scenario that it's hard to take seriously. So a man (Ron Silver) has a psychotic break after witnessing a cop (Jamie Lee Curtis) shoot dead a robber (Tom Sizemore in a brief role) and then he takes the robber's gun and starts using it to kill people he comes across and then turns his attention to the cop who he's become obsessed with. Of course Silver's character is the 'most evil man at the time', a stock trader. Ridiculous plot not helped by Silver basically turning into the Terminator where he keeps going after been shot numerous times. I see Eric Red (The Hitcher) co-wrote with Bigelow which might explain why it's so ridiculous. NIce little bit where we see that Jamie Lee isn't wearing any underwear as she rolls off the bed. Whoops!
