Update for 30 March...

Another Spanish HD redux, this time one I did in the pre-johnny-moronic.com era and is now appearing for the first time on this site.

Zapping is 1999 oddball drama that takes place in pretty much real time while we also watch what's going on the TV as it plays in the background. Basically, Alberto (Alberto San Juan) has shacked up with his new girlfriend Elvira (Paz Vega) while his ex-wife Ana Maria (Natalia Dicenta) still plays a part in his life. Meanwhile a schizophrenic killer (Eduard Fernández) has escaped from jail and is going to his ex Elvira. All the while what's playing on the television seemingly plays a part in the story particularly the finale.

I remember watching the movie on SBS back in the day where I capped it from originally and I've been struggling to find the movie again to redo it so finally here it is. Technically it's Paz Vega's first movie (so this may make it her first nude scenes), she had done some TV stuff previously but it could also be Nadie Conoce a Nadie where she only has a small role. Two years later she'd have her breakout role in Lucía y el Sexo.

Update for 16 March...

Probably the last South African movie update for a while although there might be a stray update as there are a few movie I still haven't gotten around to but they are not recent so there's no rush. Still, I capped over 40 South African movies over the past couple of weeks, so surely there's something of interest.

Desert Storm is a terrible movie about a bunch of American soldiers during the first Iraq war but it's all South African actors with very broad accents. Also give an award to Lisa-Marie Hayward for her brief role where she's naked with Uday Hussein, abused, eats a penis (in one bite!) and forced to leave naked. I know Uday was a psychopath but what was the point of this scene? At first I could find a DVD rip of the movie until I had one last look and found it is on Plex and I was able to download it. Turns out that the version on Plex has some extra shots of nudity plus the nude scenes seem to be zoomed in on the DVD version. The Plex version is also in a taller aspect ratio so it seems to show more. No idea why the DVD version is edited.

Nommer 37 is a Rear Window derivative set in a crime-riddled South African apartment complex that when the wheelchair-bound man sees the murder, he decides to use it to bribe the killer and of course it doesn't go to plan. It's not a bad movie but it does get a bit silly before a final twist that works pretty well. The female lead Monique Rockman has a nude scene in the movie and also has good nude scenes in Gaia.

Couldn't find any of these movies in HD but they're fairly decent quality.

Today's South African update features a couple of movies about a group of women and their 'complicated' love lives. Interestingly, Mmabatho Montsho is one of the three leads in the 2016 movie Happiness is a Four-Letter Word with her character doing the narration but she is completely wiped out of the 2021 sequel, Happiness Ever After, never spoken of and replaced by a different character. Bizarre...

I liked Christia Visser in Girl From Nowhere and wondered if there was anything else with her around and came across a docudrama called Alison about a survivor of a horrific crime. She plays the fictionalised version of the survivor and has some brief nudity/covered nudity in it.

Update for 6 March...

Another batch of recent South African movies. Jane de Wet is briefly naked in The Girl From St. Agnes so I went looking around for movies starring her and it's a bit thin on the ground but she has body double nudity in Parable where she plays a teen lesbian who is inhabited by a spirit. Jessica Alexander from Glasshouse is a British actress who has a few sexy scenes in the recent Into The Deep.

Update for 5 March...

When I capped the South African TV series The Girl From St. Agnes recently, I got interested in seeing if there was more to cap from South Africa so I've been looking at a number of 'recent' (since 2010) movies to see what's available. Today is the first of those updates. It's a bit thin on nudity which suggests I've already fished out those waters previously but there's plenty of sexy stuff.

No nudity from Zethu Dlomo-Mphahlele below but she does have a pretty decent nude scene in the South African made series Black Sails.
