Chances: More new characters

This update says goodbye to cast member Molly Brumm, who's sole purpose seemed to be was to get naked. Another shake-up of the cast adds a few more characters including one played by Karen Richards and in the most shocking development yet, Abigail. Shocking as in it's 'shocking' she wasn't in the show ages ago. Also joining is Katherine Li but she is only on as a guest at the moment.

We also finally find out who is manipulating Alex and it turns out it's some Howard Hughes-style billionaire Crowley Lander (Barry Hill) who is barely alive, sleeps with pee bags next to him (!) and desperately wants Alex to impregnate his mute daughter Imogen (Ciri Thompson, yet another actress in a mute role, hmmm) and inherit his fortune. But only after he kills his father, Jack (Tim Robertson). And right about now the man who raised Alex thinking he was his son, Dan (John Sheerin) is breathing a huge sigh of relief...

Episode 86 - Eye Of The Needle

The return of Genevieve (Ann Rigby) as the pretend nun/actually a prostitute Alex is obsessed with for a bit of sex and another decent nude scene from Ann where she shows her breasts and bottom. Won't be the last we see of her either as she'll be back from episode 92.

Episode 87 - Empire Of The Son

Plenty of nudity in this episode.

Sharon (Mercia Deane-Johns) joins the ever-growing list of women who sleep with Cal (Gerry Sont) and we see Mercia's breasts throughout the scene as she lays in bed with him.

About the closest we are probably going to get to nudity from Patsy Stephen is when Crowley Lander, through his cypher Hellman (Philip Holder), gives Alex access to the one women who would never have sex with him in a million years, Angela (Patsy Stephen). She seems more than willing but Alex is disbelieving it is her until she shows him her mole on her leg. They have sex and Alex gives her a hickey to see if it was really her but the next day, Angela is confused by Alex's affection and she doesn't have a hickey. Hmmm... We briefly see Patsy's left breast from the side but she is mostly shot to not see much of anything throughout the scene.

In the previous update, I talk about this and link to a movie (Kiss The Night) where she had a bunch of nude scenes.

Turns out that Hellman is Stephanie's (Molly Brumm) sleazy uncle who's been helping Crowley Lander in her own way. Hellman forces Stephanie to strip, which she does and we briefly see Molly's breasts.

Crowley Lander's daughter Imogen is basically a sex slave her father is pimping out so that she can give birth to his air. She's inexplicably mute and only wears a flimsy, see-through dress which I guess is for taking off easily so that she can be impregnated. She's a pretty useless character but she has plenty of nudity in the coming episodes, this time as she disrobes so that Alex can have sex with her, but he is not ready. We briefly see both of Ciri's breasts.

Finally an unknown actress shows her breasts with pasties over her nipples as she is filming a stag movie that turns into a snuff movie. This was Jack's first big case but he was set up to fail by Lander who was involved in the murder.

Episode 88 - Watch Yer Back, Jack

A bit of nudity from Ciri Thompson in this episode, first as she takes off her dress hoping to seduce Alex where we see Ciri's breasts. Secondly we briefly see Ciri's left breast when she finally has sex with Alex and then we see both of Ciri's breasts as Imogen and Alex again have sex.

Then in a very strange plot, that may or may not have actually happened in the making of the show, Angela gets a call from a photographer Madelaine Wolfe (Karen Richards, who joins the show in this scene) about a recalcitrant actress who won't come out of the dressing room because she won't show her breasts and it's costing the company $100 a minute. A stylist (Jessie Jenkins) has offered to double for the actress and when Angela arrives, the stylist already has her breasts out, ready for action. Angela chews out the recalcitrant actress Jesse (Rebecca McKenzie) who says that nudity wasn't initially necessary. Angela is not happy and forces Jesse out of the dressing room and into the shower for the shoot. Jesse is very reluctant throughout the shoot and refuses to comply with the demands of Madelaine, so Angela yells at her again, only for Stephanie to step in to defend the actress. Angela attacks Stephanie and then threatens to kill Jesse if she doesn't do as she's told. A wild and ridiculous plot, good to see that women can be just as shitty as men I guess...

Anyway, Rebecca McKenzie shows her breasts although they are somewhat covered by her arm for the most part plus a couple of shots of her bottom. Rebecca is returning to the show, this time in a speaking role as she previously had a nude scene in episode 71 as she swam under water saving a drowning Alex while being completely naked. Rebecca will return in yet another role in later episodes. Jessie Jenkins also shows her breasts keenly waiting to double for the recalcitrant actress. Don't they have robes...

Episode 89 - Getting It Up

Karen Richards joined the show in the previous episode in what seemed more like a guest role as a photographer but her role expands in this episode. In this episode she's trying to seduce Cal and walks topless down the beach while trying to take off Cal's bathing suit but he stops her as there's a family nearby, who don't seem to have a problem with her without a bikini top. That's nice of them.

Sir Malcolm Watkins (Kevin J. Wilson) returns with his trusty, mute topless masseuse (Fiona Carson) with an offer to help Angela with starting up her new PR firm after Lander dissolved the one she worked for thanks to Alex betraying him plus that incident with the actress in the last episode lost a few clients too. Again Fiona Carson shows her breasts in a couple of scenes.

Episode 90 - Heaven On A Stick

Final episode for Molly Brumm and she leaves in a whimper after Jack, who was killed by Lander's goons after Alex 'successfully' faked his death. Alex is convinced that Stephanie is involved in Jack's death, not without warrant as she's tried it before and Jack was familiar with her 'scent' from the previous attempt. Alex thinks of killing Stephanie but decides on another method to be rid of her. Meanwhile, Stephanie's been ordered by her uncle Hellman to kill Alex but as she is about to inject Alex while they're having sex, she sees Jack, who has inhabited the body of Alex and it freaks her out and she decides to leave forever in the most 'Poochie' exit ever. Well, at least I think that's what happened, it not explained all that well and it's completely baffling. Should've just killed her off; at least that makes sense.

Anyway, we see the side of Molly's right breast throughout the scene but don't really get a clear look at her breast.

Meanwhile, Madelaine is successful in seducing Cal and she takes off her off her dress and we see Karen's right breast and bottom as she joins him in bed. Later, Alex is asked to keep an eye on the daughter of a Chinese gangster and client of his and Angela's PR firm, Bogart Lo (Lawrence Mah). Alex is called away then Lo's daughter Lily (Katherine Li) starts flirting with Cal. When he gets back, Lily has gone and it looks like she's left with Cal. Alex goes to Cal's house and finds him having sex with someone, so he pulls Cal off the woman, who turns out to be Madelaine. As Cal is wrenched away from Madelaine, we briefly see Karen's breasts. Later, we see her breasts again as she lies in bed with Cal.

Episode 91 - The Sex Show

All nudity in this episode appeared in better quality in previous episodes. Imogen watches herself have sex with Alex and we see Ciri's breasts in a couple of recorded scenes, both of which featured in episode 88.

Meanwhile, Alex finds the snuff movie that proves that Crowley Lander is involved in a woman's death but he is thwarted at every turn. We again see the 'snuff movie' which previously featured in episode 87.

What's to come? As I mentioned above, the return of Genevieve in a more expansive role over the next few episodes. Katherine Li's Lily gets horny and does a little 'prime time kama sutra' in a see-through catsuit. Also, a hitwoman arrives to kill Crowley Lander and the makers are really scraping the bottom for actresses now.

I'm going to go back to 4 episodes a week because the last 2 updates have both had over 30 videos and taken longer than I was expecting to complete. And usually I don't release more than 20 videos an update lest they get lost in the clutter.

Chances: Keep on rolling

As I mentioned in the previous update, Rachel (Carolyn Bock) didn't die and was forced to fake her own death to trick Alex (Jeremy Sims) into some evil doctor's guardianship. She is saved from the facility but doesn't last long when she and the evil doctor are killed, possibly by a shadowy figure who could be working for the government (he isn't but we don't find out who to the next lot of episodes).

This lot of episodes also ups the amount of nudity from Molly Brumm, who now just seems to take her top off in every other scene she appears in, including one baffling scene where she poses as transgender to seduce someone...

6 further episodes today, a couple extra as I missed doing an update last week.

Episode 80 - The Turn Of The Screw

Not really much in this episode and not really nudity from Brenda Addie who takes a lover in mysterious Cal (Gerry Sont) who seems to be looking after a next door neighbour in more ways in one (this time it isn't sex). Anyway, Brenda briefly shows quite a bit of side-boob as she lays with Cal while Sharon (Mercia Deane-Johns) has worked out Barbara (Brenda Addie) is indulging in 'free love'.

Also in this episode, the evil doctor is playing tricks on Alex and has sent two naked women to harass the poor bloke and then play dead in a crude recreation of the scene where he found the dead bodies her supposedly killed. Neither actress is credited but knowing Chances, they'll probably be recycled in future episode so I may find out their names yet.

Episode 81 - Butcher, Baker, Undertaker

More nudity from Molly Brumm. First up, the evil doctor rips open Stephanie's (Molly Brumm) shirt and threatens to cut her breast if she doesn't do what he wants.

Then Jack (Tim Robertson) wants to know where they are keeping Alex, so he threatens Stephanie who is in bed naked and we see her breasts as the covers come down and continue to do so when Jack holds her down to question her.

Episode 82 - Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll

After being repeatedly threatened in the previous episode, Stephanie takes back control, seducing a computer inventor to get info she can use to take down Angela (Patsy Stephen), who mutually despise one another. This would come into fruition when she drugs Angela and makes a fool of herself at drinks with a client. This would lead to the next nude scene from Molly Brumm when she physically threatens Stephanie and after Angela leaves, Stephanie takes off her gown and briefly reveals her right breast to seduce Alex.

Also in the episode we see the alternate plot of the episode which delivers quite of bit of nudity from Kim Donnell. Bill (Michael Caton) spies his favourite 70s rock legend Frankie Kelly (Jeff Phillips) mooring on the docks where he works and decides to get close to him. Frankie is living with a much younger woman Tracy (Kim Donnell) and their relationship is a little odd as she loves to call him 'Daddy' although they aren't related. Tracy is also horny as women tend to be on Chances and when Cal comes along to fix the engine of the boat, Tracy takes down her bathing suit to reveal her breasts and seduce him but Frankie comes back and they have to quickly stop what they were about to do. But Frankie notices something off although it doesn't bother him to much and he seems to be quite happy for Tracy to 'flirt' with other men. Tracy then takes down her bathing suit again for Frankie and they kiss.

Bill is managing/bankrolling a comeback for Frankie and is concerned that Frankie is a bit to straight to he takes some clandestine photos of him with Tracy and we again see her breasts. Bill would later hear Tracy call Frankie 'Daddy' and boy does that set him off but not in the way he was hoping.

Finally, Tracy gets with Cal and we again see her breasts before she realises that she's not into him and really loves Frankie, so she gets off Cal and gets dressed. Kim will be back in later episodes playing a different, more expansive character with even more nudity but that's not for a while.

Episode 83 - Fear Of Flying

Plenty of nudity from Molly in this episode. First up she gets a massage while nude and we briefly see her breasts as the camera moves up her body. The massage ends and Alex quips about Stephanie usually getting more from the massage.

The next scene is really quite something. Stephanie's one great skill is the art of seduction but what happens when the man she wants to seduce is gay. Well, this worries her but during a flight she makes up a story about needing to get his signature on a contract with her PR firm so that she can get money to get the final lot of surgery for changing sex. Subtle as ever, Stephanie opens her top and shows and allows the pilot Roland (Michael Carman) to touch her breasts and show him that she's really a 'woman'. Well we don't see it but it turns out they have sex in the plane as it's flying which causes the plane to be seen flying dangerously and gets Roland in a lot of trouble with the flight authority. Whoops!!

Later, Stephanie exposes her breasts to seduce Alex, who isn't interested after her escapades leave them in a tricky situation. We also see someone watching Stephanie seducing Alex and others on video, all scenes that have previously appeared on the site.

No nudity in episode 84 entitled Raw Nerve. Don't know what was going on there... The episode is heavy on Angela played by Patsy Stephen, who has a few sexy scenes but as I'll detail below, doesn't really do nudity.

 

Episode 85 - Breaststroke

Another episode where the main plot moves away from sexy plots. This one is about Alex chasing around a teen swimming sensation who he wants to head an advertising campaign he's behind but she just wants to cut loose and drink and take drugs.

The closest thing to nudity in this episode is two women giving Alex the time of his life. They both wear see-through bodysuits but don't really get naked.

As I said earlier, long running recurring character cum one of the main characters on the show Angela, played by Patsy Stephen has started having sexy scenes in recent episode but really comes out in this lot of episode with a couple of scenes that hint at nudity but don't really see anything. In episode 81, she lies in a bath hiding Alex from the evil doctor under the water. After the doctor leaves, Angela reluctantly leaves the bath and we see her covering her breasts with her arm. In episode 83, Cal spies Angela playing squash angrily by herself and likes what he sees. Later as she's taking a shower, he leaves a flower for her which creeps her out. We briefly see her bottom behind the shower glass but it possibly might not be her.

Interesting that Patsy isn't really doing nudity in the show as she has done nudity and quite a bit of it in a 1987 movie called Kiss The Night aka Candy Regentag, playing a prostitute who falls for one of her clients. I should say that there's an episode coming up where we very briefly see Patsy's left breast that may have been an accident. That'll come up in the next update.

So what's to come in the future. Another shake-up in the cast with new characters and a few old ones moved on plus the pathetic demise of Stephanie which they've dragged out for a number of episodes and ends in a whimper. Also the return of the sexy nun. We finally find out who's been manipulating Alex and it's the laziest plot twist you're ever likely to see. But they have a slave-like daughter who doesn't really bother much with clothes. Alex finally gets everything he's every wanted but it is not what it seems.

Chances: End of 1991 episodes

When we left off, Alex (Jeremy Sims) was going to Western Australia to work out why he's having these flashbacks and nightmares. Well, Western Australia looks like the Victorian coast but at least they are outside. While there, Alex comes across someone familiar, Rachel, played by Carolyn Bock who turned up previously playing a character named Tracy in episode 41. She was a high school P.E. teacher who brought a ticket in a raffle run by Alex's sister Nikki (Cathy Godbold) to 'have a moment' with Alex. She greeted Alex in her underwear and that scene can be found here. It may also have been Carolyn's first ever role.

I mentioned this the last time she appeared in the show that Carolyn has a couple of other nude roles including the 1997 sci-fi thriller Zone 39 and an episode of Blue Heelers plus a few sexy scenes in the 2000 B-grade action thriller Sensitive New Age Killer, which are pretty good plus I remember it was mentioned on the commentary to that movie that she just had a baby and was bigger than usual and why she didn't go nude. Carolyn can still be seen fairly regularly on mostly TV shows. I notice she turned up in the Melbourne shot US TV show La Brea.

And boy does she return to Chances, as she seems to be out of her clothes more than she is in them throughout her 5 episode (and some extra stuff) stay.

Episode 74 - Rapture Of The Deep

We are shown a flashback of Rachel finding Alex washed up on shore and barely alive and for some reason she is only wearing bikini bottoms. It is not clearly noted although putting two and two together would suggest that Rachel may have been the 'nude' girl who saved him which he sees in the flashbacks starting in episode 71 with the nude woman played by Rebecca McKenzie. Later, Alex and Rachel are having sex on the beach and she undoes her sarong and reveals her breasts and bottom. While having sex, they are being spied by a man and to explain why would involve explaining a 'multi-episode arc I'm still watching' to get to the bottom of it. Let's just say he's making sure Rachel is being 'polite' to Alex so that he can report it to his superiors as a 'bad thing'.

Episode 75 - Who's Afraid Of Ted E. Baer

Stephanie (Molly Brumm) seduces Alex for the umpteenth time, this time using a video of bullfighting to get her going which Alex is disgusted by. But they have sex anyway where we see Stephanie's breasts, mostly from the side.

Episode 76 - Sexual Therapy

Alex is back in Melbourne when he is approached as he is going into work by Rachel, who's made the trip over from Western Australia. In Alex's apartment, the first thing Rachel does is take a shower (as you do) and then has sex with him. Here we see Carolyn's breasts and bottom for a fair while and almost full frontal nudity in one shot and very close to as she is being dried by towel. Later, Alex is struggling coming up with an advertising campaign and Rachel distracts him with some more sex and we again see Carolyn's breasts.

Episode 77 - Bodies and Soul

The final episode of 1991 is a big cliffhanger and the makers absolutely leave nothing on the table. Carolyn Bock has no less than 5 nude scenes in this episode. The episode starts with Rachel strapped nude to a gurney being injected with something and we see Caroline's bottom.

The next scene is so baffling I can't work out why it happened but it does and I'm going to try and explain it as best I can. After being injected, Rachel finds herself in a roadside truck stop wearing a short 'nurse' style dress where she clearly realises that she is wearing no underwear. After refreshing herself in the toilets, a 'friendly' truck driver who had already hit on her early enters and 'sees if she's alright'. He grabs her and Rachel fights back, kneeing the truck driver in the balls then she runs from the truck stop and attempts to climb a fence to evade the truck driver but he catches her and carries her over to his truck to have his way with her. Then Alex arrives as he received a call from Rachel earlier and makes it just in time to stop the truck driver from raping Rachel although the truck driver turns his attentions onto Alex and beats him up and attempts to choke him out but Alex finds an aerosol can in the truck and blasts it into the truck driver's eyes, incapacitating him long enough for Rachel and Alex to escape.

Remember the bit where I said that Rachel realises she's not wearing any underwear. Well, as she's climbing the fence, it certainly looks like she's not wearing any underwear as we see her bottom and maybe something more. Then we almost see something more again as she is being carried to the truck and then while on the front seat of the truck we may see her genitals but it's so quick and low quality that it's hard to tell much of anything. As Rachel leaves the truck after the truck driver would-be rapist has been put out of business, we see a very brief leg spread which seems to suggest she was wearing something over the front of her genitals, as seen the final cap below. We definitely see Carolyn's bottom as her dress rides up and we may see something more but who knows. I still can't believe this scene happened, it's so... blatant.

Still going. After being saved by Alex, he takes Rachel to his apartment and she has (another) shower and we again see Carolyn's breasts before she heads to bed, nude of course. Later, she is in bed with Alex when he gets a visit from his 'biological' father Jack (Tim Robertson), who looks in the bedroom and finds Rachel sitting up in bed with the covers barely covering her breasts.

Finally, Alex leaves Rachel in the care of Stephanie which is a big mistake as she hires a masseur to look after Rachel and we again briefly see Carolyn's breasts before she mistakes the masseur for Alex and begins to kiss him. It should be noted that at the end of the episode, Alex wakes up in a daze and finds both his psychiatrist (Briony Behets) and Rachel dead in his apartment, apparently both stabbed by Alex, who then goes on the run.

We haven't finished with the nudity in the episode though as two drifters Scott (Justin Connor) and Thea (Meredith Chipperton) arrive in town looking for work who apparently aren't above performing a live sex act for money, something Sharon (Mercia Deane-Johns) seems to have seen. Anyway, Bill (Michael Caton) takes pity on them and tries to get Dan (John Sheerin) to give them work, which he eventually relents. Later, Scott and Thea arrive on Dan and Barbara's (Brenda Addie) doorstep looking for shelter which they give them. In return, they help out around the house with Thea doing some whitewashing of something (no idea what) wearing only a bikini. She begins to clean herself and in the process takes off her bikini top, revealing her breasts as she gets Dan to help her clean herself. Oh and there's the whole thing about a bet Scott and Thea make about who's the first to seduce Dan or Barbara, which ends in an unexpected way.

Strangely, there's an anomaly in the ordering of episodes for the series which completely skipped over episode 78. So there's no episode 78... Baffling.

 

Episode 79 - The Edge

The 1992 opener begins with a woman lounging around a pool wearing only a G-string swimwear putting on sunscreen then messily but seductively eating a piece of fruit before inexplicably dumping it on the ground and then she goes for a swim. Turns out Alex, who's deranged and on the run is watching her and spotted the fruit platter on the table and is actually interested (for the first time ever) in the fruit and not the woman. He scavenges the food but is seen by the woman who notices that it's the wanted Alex and she picks up a spear gun and shoots, missing him and almost hitting a newly arriving Jack, who has come to save him. Anyway, the lounging woman credited as 'Model' is played by Penny Taylor, not the well known (and much younger) Australian basketball player but a fairly well known local model who still seems to be modelling and doesn't have any other credits as far as I can tell.

Being a few episodes since Molly Brumm has gotten naked and here she inexplicably seduces some nerd who makes conservative woman's clothes and she is trying to get his advertising account. Lucky!

I decided to cap 5 episodes for this because I wanted to get the first episode of the new year in the update plus it means I can finish the disc off. It is probably the reason why this update is a day late plus episode 77 took a lot longer than I was expecting.

So what's upcoming nudity wise, more of the same really. More from Molly Brumm but it's now clear they are trying to bump her off. More random women getting naked plus another bizarre plot involving a one-hit wonder who's in a relationship with his 'daughter'. Brenda Addie gets some surprisingly sexy scenes with the pool boy where she almost gets nude plus Carolyn Bock returns but not in the way she appeared in this update. It's Chances after all, nobody ever really dies.
